Epilepsy Safe Reader does not collect or transmit any personal data. All analysis is performed locally on your device.

How it works

The extension scans the current page's DOM (animations, stylesheets, and visual elements) entirely within your browser to assess seizure trigger risk. No page content, browsing history, or personal information is ever sent to any server.

What we do not do

• We do not collect, transmit, or store any user data on our servers.
• We do not sell or share any data with third parties.
• We do not collect browsing history, personal communications, or financial information.
• We do not use data for advertising or any purpose unrelated to seizure safety.

Local storage

Reader settings (font size, background colour) and notes are stored locally on your device using Chrome's storage API. This data never leaves your device.
